Reblogged on Peace Corps Midwest

Yesterday I was honored to have one of my MayWeSuggest posts on co-teaching featured on the Midwest Peace Corps Volunteer Blog. This blog features the incredible work of PCVs who were born and raised in the good ol’ Midwest. It’s incredible to think of the journey I’ve been on and how far I’ve come from my small farm town, 4-H, FFA, and hog-raising upbringing. I’m so thankful for the lessons that southern Illinois taught me.

Thanks for the shout out, Peace Corps Midwest Region, and for helping this Midwest girl share a bit more of her stories with those back home. Let’s hear it for the third goal!
